Contribution Assessment
Minimum contribution is required to maintain a secure position in Immortalis. Contribution is assessed based on your last four weeks of play. To be considered Contributing you must fulfill one of the following:
· Be attending an average of two full raids per week for the four week period
· Be attending at least one raid and offering other tangible or intangible contributions for the four week period
· Be on specifically posted leave not exceeding four weeks (see Leave policy below for more details)
Tangible or intangible contributions are varied and at officer discretion. These types of contributions would include things such as: Running instances outside of raid time, being available as a waitlister for full or partial raids when possible, spending time with the guild on “leisure” activities such as chatting or pvping, being active in the forums, contributing to the guild bank, participating in guild projects, etc.
If you are not fulfilling the contribution requirements, you will be contacted privately by an officer.
Being classified as a non-contributor places you at immediate and constant risk of replacement. A qualified applicant may be recruited to replace you on the roster, in which case you may be asked to move to Aeternum.
The only way to be re-classified as a Contributor is to increase your average to meet the aforementioned requirements for the four-week period.
After returning from a Leave, your contribution assessment begins immediately with each week since your return. Therefore you must be certain you have returned from leave and begin immediately contributing in order to be classified as such.
Leave Policy
Raiders are allowed a maximum of four weeks of consecutive leave and inactivity. This applies whether the length of the leave is specified or unspecified.
After this time the raider may be moved into Aeternum and their spot opened for recruitment. Since a physical move is not possible without consent, the raider will be moved into a special Aeternum rank indicating they are now considered Aeternum. After returning from leave, the player may rejoin Immortalis if a space is open for their class and role and they meet the current gear check. Otherwise they will be asked to physically move their toon into Aeternum.
Forum involvement and good communication may qualify you for an extension. Keeping the guild appraised of your leave situation and specifying your return time may or may not allow exceptions to the four week rule.
Despite the rule of four weeks at a time, a habit of long leaves will be assessed at the discretion of the officers and may result in you being asked to move into Aeternum. |
